We have to cancel the printing process due to many reasons. Most of the time, we need to do this when we don’t want to print a particular document or we need to troubleshoot the printer. There are two ways you can cancel the print job that are in the queue. You can cancel a single document, or dismiss all printing. If you have recently bought a Dell Laser Printer and are unaware of the process, then this article is for you. You have the option of connecting with us at Dell Printer Technical Support whenever you need to learn anything about operating the dell device.

Take these steps to cancel a single document

  • Firstly, go to the Windows Icon visible on the bottom left corner of the screen
  • Type “Devices and Printers" in the search field.
  • Locate and click to open the control panel of "Device and Printers" from the search results.
  • Press right-click when you see Dell printer Icon.
  • Click on the option “See what’s printing”.
  • It will display a list of all the items in the queue
  • Select the document you want to stop, and click Cancel.
  • Select yes when you are required to confirm.

Follow the steps to cancel all the printing

  • Repeat the above steps till you reach the “See what’s printing” page
  • After this, select “Printer” instead of the document.
  • Then select the prompt “Cancel All Documents”.
  • Finally, click yes to confirm.

This is how you can prevent printing selected document, or cancel the whole printing. We hope that these steps were relevant for you.
